Hoboken is near and dear to my heart. When I first moved for my NYC banking tech job, I lived in West New York. A few years later, I moved slightly South to Jersey City. That area, including Hoboken is so special to me because I used to run and bike up and down the river. Even on the hottest days, the breeze was just as refreshing as the views.

My first newborn session of 2020 is this beautiful family. We were hopeful that the sunshine would appear on an exceptionally foggy morning and it eventually broke through for half of the session. You hear me preach about natural light regularly. While I am completely proficient in artificial light, there is nothing like a newborn session filled with natural light. Compare how you feel on a drowsy, dark day compared to a sunny, bright day. It completely changes the mood and it definitely does the same with photography.

Congrats to these new parents on their little, sweet babe! They are doing an amazing thing in this world, raising a very loved little boy.
